Portsmouth, RI – Bristol Marine, a leading provider of marine service facilities, has announced the acquisition of Huckins Yachts in Jacksonville, FL.
The addition marks the company’s fourth major facility – from Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, to Florida – continuing a growth journey with the help of PierVantage, the trusted marine management software platform that has supported Bristol Marine since 2012.
Bristol Marine first implemented PierVantage at its Portsmouth, RI location in 2012. Shortly after that, PierVantage was deployed at their Somerset Marine location in Massachusetts. Next, Bristol Marine acquired Boothbay Harbor Yard in Boothbay, Maine in 2018. Lastly, with the newest acquisition of Huckins Yachts in Florida, PierVantage will again help support that operation as it continues its legacy and continued success.
The latest implementation at Huckins Yachts is already underway and expected to go live in September 2025.
This PierVantage implementation allows Bristol Marine to bring Huckins Yacht into its proven digital systems while still preserving the unique identity and business model that Huckins has built over its long history.
